The Curacao hotels have achieved an average room occupancy of 70.7 percent in 2022, almost 10 percentage points better than the regional average. This is announced by the Curacao Hospitality and Tourism Association (Chata). “According to STR, the leading organization that analyzes hotel performance worldwide, the average for the Caribbean as a whole was (60.7 percent),” said Chata. The average daily room rate for Curacao hotels in 2022 was $206.32, 29 percent less than the average for the Caribbean ($290.60), while the average revenue per available room (RevPar) of the hotels was $145.84 , about 17.4 percent less than the regional average of $176.46.
