Willy Maal has confirmed that part of the east point section has been sold.
It concerns the parts of east point that have been designated by the government as developable destinations in the EOP, which has been amended by law. Tourist Area, urban residential area, rural residential area and also conservation area and open country. This is also in accordance with various court judgements from 1993, 1998, 1999 and after lengthy negotiations, protocols and a resulting settlement agreement between Maal and the government in 2010. This area, now designated as developable in the EOP and subsequently sold by mill, covers a quarter of the entire east point. The land sold contains largely the southern coast and inner bays and part of the inlands.
