INCREASING AMOUNT OF HOMES IN CURAÇAO
The amount of homes on Curaçao has grown drastically. In 2001 the Central Bureau of Statistics announced there were 49.045 homes in Curaçao, but today this amount has grown to a total of 75.087!
This growth is a consequence of population growth and it’s being stimulated by the government by stimulating the production of homes via public-private partnership institutions. The amount of vacant homes has decreased with 37% from 5.000 to 3.000 today.
