The Venezuelan fruit boats have moved back to Sha Caprileskade yesterday after a long wait, where the floating market had been established for more than a hundred years.
The quay has been strengthened and the stands have been given a completely new look, with colorful awnings and tiled counters; what not only looks better but also ensures better hygiene.
The barges could return again after an agreement with Venezuela in August and were temporarily established at Kleine Werf. Now they are back at their old place.
