CERTIFICATE OF INHERITANCE
Do you know what you have to take into account when selling a property from an inheritance?
If a property has to be sold after someone’s death, a certificate of inheritance is usually required. Without a certificate of inheritance, it is not known by definition whether the heirs have accepted the inheritance and who is authorized to act. This must then be sorted out by the notary. The notary must know for sure who must sign for the transfer of the property.
A certificate of inheritance is a notarial deed from which it can be deduced who the heirs are and whether the heirs have accepted the inheritance. It also shows who may be authorized to settle the matters of inheritance such as an executor or an authorized person.
